Styling Espadrille Sandals: Day 2
Today I am continuing my collaboration with fellow stylist, Shannon from April Styling, to bring you Day 2 of our three part series on styling espadrille sandals for summer. We will be posting again on Friday of this week giving you a total of 6 easy outfit ideas for the week. Espadrille sandals are hot this summer so we want to show you how we personally style them within our wardrobes.
For Day 2, I am styling my navy espadrille sandals with a pair of light wash denim shorts and a navy v-neck tee. I love using fun accessories to elevate closet staples that are included in my Summer 2020 Capsule Wardrobe eBook.

My accessories include a boho cuff, a pair of printed leather earrings (check out the promo below), a delicate necklace, a straw hat, and aviator sunglasses.

SIZING & STYLING NOTES
Espadrilles: I had to size down a whole size (8 to 7).
Denim Shorts: I’m wearing an 8. I’d say they run fairly true to size but are more on the roomier side than the tight side for an 8. These shorts have good stretch but don’t sag or fall with wear which is great for such a budget buy!
Navy Tee: This is a medium and works well for my full bust without being oversized. I used a clear hair elastic to make my knot. It’s a great trick to use if your tee isn’t quite long enough to tie. I chose to put the faux knot in the front since these shorts have a button fly.
