Styling Crop Flare Jeans

Today I am styling a pair crop flare jeans. They are a fun silhouette for spring and summer and a nice alternative to skinny jeans when the weather heats up.

I really like the wash on these jeans, but my favorite thing about them is that they don’t slip down as I wear them! I have a terrible time finding jeans that will stay up. They are currently on sale for $29.99 (Reg. $49.95). They are high-waisted and fit slim through the knee with a crop flare leg opening. If you are in between sizes, I suggest going up. I am a 6 petite or an 8 petite in jeans and the 8 short fits well with no extra room in this style. I also shortened mine about 2 inches because at 5’3″ they were a little longer than the cropped look that I wanted. These jeans are available in short, regular, and long lengths.

Jeans | Floral Top | Lace Shaper Cami | Wedge Sandal | Earrings

This reversible, lightweight floral top is so pretty! It can be worn in a dressy casual style like above or you can totally pair it with navy dress pants and heels. I am wearing it in a small and there are still some smalls available at the sale price of $29.99. I would say it runs a little big since I have a large chest (34G) and have extra room in this top. If you click the link above you can get actual measurements for the top.

My wedge sandals are very on-trend this year and are a great Marc Fisher dupe. I have worn these sandals for several hours at a time and not experienced any rubbing or soreness. I had to go down a half size because they run large. The current price for these sandals is less than $25!

Jeans | Striped Tee (Similar, Similar) | Sandals | Earrings

Another easy way to style crop flare jeans is to pair them with a knotted striped tee and a pair of flat sandals. I did a faux knot on this tee using a small, clear hair elastic. It’s a fun way to shorten up a tee or to make a tee more form fitting if it isn’t long enough for a regular knot. These sandals are a new purchase. They have a nice amount of padding for a budget-friendly shoe and will be a versatile sandal for spring and summer.

These navy braided leather earrings have such a pretty texture! They are from an Etsy shop called Designs by JenniLyn. This shop offers a variety of luxe handmade gemstone and leather jewelry creations at affordable prices. I purchased a navy pair for my mom and then decided to buy a pair for myself too. The shop owner has graciously gifted me another pair and through Friday, May 17th, you can get 20% off any item in the shop with the promo code midwestmel20!
