How to Use Wardrobe Staples to Create a Fourth of July Outfit
Can you believe the Fourth of July is only a week away? It’s crazy to think that 2020 is almost halfway over. It has been HARD year but I am trying to count my blessings rather than dwell on the difficulties!
I decided to shop my closet this year for a Fourth of July outfit. As a capsule wardrobe user, my closet is stocked with wardrobe staples that can easily be turned into an outfit for the Fourth!
My wardrobe staples included in this outfit are white denim shorts, a striped tee, a denim jacket, and a delicate gold pendant. I added a pair of navy espadrille sandals and a fun pair of red leather earrings to add to the festive (yet classic) look.
If you don’t already have these pieces in your closet, you can shop my look below.

Styling & Sizing Notes
White fashion sneakers or white sandals can be subbed if you don’t own navy sandals.
I had to size down a whole size (8 to 7) in the navy espadrilles.
I sized up from a medium to a large in the striped tee.
I’m wearing size Regular in the leather earrings.
