How to Transition Your Makeup for Fall + Pretty Fall Color Palettes

Are you ready for fall? I hate to see summer go, but I do love the cool breezes, pumpkins, and fashion that comes with fall! Along with transitioning your wardrobe into fall, there are changes you can make to your beauty routine that will keep you looking up to date. Today I am sharing my top 5 tips for transitioning your makeup for fall as well as some pretty fall palettes already put together for you. These palettes will take out all the guesswork of coordinating new colors and help streamline your shopping!

How to Transition Your Makeup for Fall

  1. Transition from a tinted moisturizer to a foundation: This will transition your dewy and minimal summer look to give you more coverage and more of a matte finish. It’s also good to reassess your color as many women need to change foundation colors as they move into the cooler months and get less sun.
  2. Add deeper eye shadow colors for more dramatic fall looks: Deeper plums and browns are great for fall!
  3. Be sure to add blush to your daily makeup routine: This will help give you color as your summer tan starts to fade.
  4. Add a new lip color that complements your personal coloring and fall wardrobe: Switching out your summer shade to a fall color instantly helps update your look.
  5. Be sure to keep your face moisturized as this gives you a great base for all of your makeup: The air can be drying to your skin during the cooler months so using a goof moisturizer is key.
