Five Ways to Style Denim Shorts - MELISSA CONNER & COMPANY

Today I am styling a pair of denim shorts five ways. I also used the same shoes for each outfit to show how versatile cross-strap sandals can be in your wardrobe.

These denim shorts have a 5-inch inseam and are a great length for many women. They aren’t so short that they are uncomfortable or so long that they look matronly. This pair is 99% cotton and 1% elastane. I have found them to retain their shape pretty well during wear, which can be really hard to find in denim clothing these days! In these shorts, I wear size 28 (6) petite. Typically, I am either a 6 petite or an 8 petite in jeans depending on the brand and style. For this pair of shorts, I definitely recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.
