Fall 2019 Capsule: Styling a Black Dress - MELISSA CONNER & COMPANY

Today I am showing how I shopped my closet to create Outfit #11 of my Busy Moms Fall 2019 Capsule Wardrobe. This knit, 3/4 sleeve dress is a great basic to have in your closet. Just add black booties, a leopard scarf, and a cute handbag and you are looking put together and polished!

For my version, I have the same dress but my shoes and accessories are items I already had in my wardrobe. I don’t own any gold hoops, so I subbed in a pair of leather earrings that match my scarf.

My waterproof suede booties are currently 60% off! They run true to size and required no break-in period for me. If you could use a pair of black booties in your wardrobe, I definitely recommend trying this pair.
