More Budget Beauty Buys

Last week I shared some of my favorite budget-friendly beauty products in my post, Budget Beauty Buys. These included foundation, BB cream, lotion, brow definer, and lip products. This week I want to share my favorite products for skin, hair, and nail care that are priced below $20. I try to use natural products when they are available and affordable. Avoiding unnecessary chemicals and smells in my home is very important to me. If this is important to you as well, the following beauty products are worth checking out.
Skincare:
Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes with Cotton Extract: These 99.1% natural cleansing cloths gently remove makeup and required no rinsing. They are hypoallergenic and fragrance-free which is great for people like me who have sensitive skin.
Burt’s Bees Radiance Night Cream: This 99% natural night cream contains Royal Jelly to help moisturize your skin, restore your skin’s natural radiance, and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This cream absorbs well and has a pleasant scent. I am very sensitive to smells, but the scent of this cream does not bother me.
Burt’s Bees Radiance Eye Cream: This 99% natural eye cream contains Royal Jelly to help enhance your skin’s glow. This product contains natural mica to diffuse light and help minimize the appearance of fine lines. This product also has a pleasant scent, and one container will last you a long time.
Hair:
Garnier Olia Oil Powered Permanent Hair Color: This hair color uses a 60% oil blend with natural flower oils in the colorant. It colors your hair without using ammonia so it does not have the strong chemical odor that is typically associated with hair color. I use the Darkest Brown shade, and it matches my natural hair color extremely well.
Nails:
Zoya Nail Polish: This nail polish is Big 5 Free which means it contains no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, or camphor. I started using this nail polish during my second pregnancy and found it to be the best polish I had ever used. It goes on smoothly and is long-wearing. You can see all available colors on the Zoya website. I do recommend ordering directly from the Zoya website, as I ordered from another seller once and the polish did not seem to be of the same high quality. I’m not sure if it was just an old bottle or if someone was trying to pass off an inferior nail polish as being a Zoya product.
Burt’s Bee Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream: This 100% natural cream moisturizes your cuticles with Sweet Almond Oil and Cocoa Seed Butter. I really like the fresh lemon scent of this product.
I hope you have found some additional products to try. I love that all of these products are priced below $20!
