Amazon Prime Wardrobe Review

Amazon Prime Wardrobe is a new feature available to Prime members. It allows you to try select merchandise before you buy. Eligible items are labeled with a Prime Wardrobe logo and are products sold and shipped by Amazon.

How it Works

  1. Pick out 3 to 8 Prime Wardrobe items. (includes clothing, shoes, & accessories)
  2. Try on your items at home. (7-day try-on period)
  3. Check out online and return any unwanted items to UPS with the included prepaid label.

Pros:

  • Prime Wardrobe allows you to try multiple sizes of an item before buying.
  • Shipping is free and returns are simple with the resealable box and prepaid label.
  • For a limited time, you can save $20 when you spend $200 or more.

Cons:

  • I found the eligible women’s clothing items to be limited and somewhat pricey. (Amazon states in the Prime Wardrobe FAQ that new items are continually being added so it is possible this may improve.) Also, some items are only eligible in certain sizes.
  • Shipping may take 4-6 business days so that Amazon can ship your order in as few boxes as possible.
  • Prime Wardrobe is currently available by invitation to Prime members, but Prime members can request an invitation here.

An excellent use for Amazon Prime Wardrobe is bra shopping! My cup size is not available in most stores, so for my first Prime Wardrobe box I ordered several bra styles. It was great to be able to try on multiple styles and sizes in the comfort of my home. Luckily, I was able to find two that fit! I ordered another one of my favorite bras, the Elomi Amelia Molded Bra and found a new nursing bra, the Elomi Smoothing Molded Nursing Bra.

Finding your correct bra size can be a frustrating process! Click here for the method I use to get a great fit and to also get tips on how to properly wear and care for your bras.
